Election Reflection

Marg Coulson and the staff at Vancouver’s City Clerk’s office are very helpful.

The Terminal City, Metro News and CKNW accurately reflected my comments.

Think City did not.

The CBC’s internet civic election coverage was awful. In fact since they have been back their local internet coverage has been nowhere near as extensive as I remember. Maybe it never really was but since the internet is my main news source I found that it was better to read the websites of other candidates and political parties then trust CBC.ca/bc to report on anything. Rick Cluff and 690AM were very good though.

The Vancouver Sun provided extensive coverage and wasn’t always tripping over itself with an editorial bias and a narrow point of view that made reading some other papers pretty hard to stomach.

My favourite debate was hosted by the Social Justice Committee of the Unitarian Church at Oak and 49th Ave.

I didn’t make any mistakes on my ballot.

I’m happy with my campaign, my positions and have no regrets.

Next Issue!

Congratulations and Thank You!
