I cannot believe what I saw on CTV News Channel Wednesday evening.

Metro Vancouver really cannot handle adversity or a loss. Was there a riot in Miami when the Miami Heat lost the NBA Championship to Dallas? No. The Lower Mainland needs to grow up.

A few days ago Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson asked the Province for money to cover extra policing costs for Game 7 Wednesday night. Premier Christy Clark said no but she would be happy to fund a Victory Parade.

I wonder if the City of Vancouver cut back on policing plans for Wednesday night because they couldn’t afford to put the extra officers out that they wanted and needed?
